Mick has shot competitively for twelve years. Shooting in several local, regional, and state matches, Mick has acquired a variety of experience. He is classified as a Marksman (MM)with the IDPA in two divisions, Stock Service Pistol (SSP) and Stock Service Revolver (SSR).

Steven E. Makulski was raised in Metro Detroit, graduating from Holy Redeemer High School as the valedictorian. He received a bachelor's degree from Wayne State University in public affairs. Mr. Makulski later graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

During his time at Cooley Law School, Mr. Makulski was active on the Moot Court Board and served as the Managing Editor for the Thomas M. Cooley Journal of Practical and Clinical Law.
